Abstract

Data journalism is the great passion of Professor Paul Bradshaw, and it is through him that his work is recognized in many countries. In addition to coordinating the Masters in Mobile and Multi-Platform Journalism and the recently launched Masters in Data Journalism at Birmingham City University (BCU - England), Bradshaw often presents himself as an online journalist and blogger. In this interview, he talks about methodologies teaching journalism, approaching academia and the market, newsmaking and audience metrics. In addition, he gives examples of reports he develops in the BBC Data Unit, where he is a consultant.
