Abstract

Considered one of the great infografistas of the present time, the Spanish Jaime Serra treats, in this interview, from the future of the infographic journalistic until the tools used for the production of his pieces. He says the crisis affecting journalism and newspaper companies has also hit art departments, but he feels the damage to the computer graphics has been less. He considers infographic as an important and useful element, although not indispensable to journalistic practice: it is "a plus", which makes a difference in the way stories are told.
