The social networks have raised the participative culture of society regarding subjects of collective interest. At the same time, the digital revolution was responsible for post-truth and the fake news phenomenon. In this scenario, fundamental principles due to the profession of journalism - detailed verification and checking – have been rescued and valued from the beginning of new ways of work. The aim of this research is based on proposing a reflection on the acting manners of journalists from Lupa Agency, willing to understand the procedures which are used by them focused on the checking process. Thus, the thesis is based on the fact that there is an experimental field to be explored by the journalist in order to act towards the crisis of this profession in addition to reclaim the lost credibility.References
