The religious discourse of local press during dictatorship

This article is devoted to the discursive analysis, by the French line (PÊCHEUX, 2008; ORLANDI, 2010), of the textual production constructed by press of Porto Union, Santa Catarina, and União da Vitória, Paraná, in the first year of the brazilian military dictatorship. The choice to work with both newspapers, O Comércio and Caiçara, is because they constitute the local press during the period, in addition to being intertwined and, to some extent, presenting the same discursive formations. It is intended, therefore, to reflect on the discourses that circle around the category "religion", also, from a historical perspective that include the construction of events in the social memory, (SAID, 2014). The results point to representations already crystallized in the social history of Brazil, with the use of words that reactivate memories and yearn for a world where religious belief is understood as a necessary salvation.References
