A experiência da monitoração de rádio em Porto Alegre
Abstract
Between January 1989 and September 1990, the Administração Popular municipal government in Porto Alegre - constituted by Frente Popular, a leftist parties´ composition headed by Partido dos Trabalhadores – decided not to invest in media. The communication government strategy was focused in disputes that suspended all investment in publicity. During this almost two years period, media space, especially in the radio, was gained through the reply to listeners´ complains. Radios were monitored and all listeners´ government related complains were immediately answered through a system named Radio Monitoring.
