Abstract

Anselm Jappe, author of The autophagic society: capitalism, excess and self-destruction (2021) recently published in Brazil by Editora Elefante, was born in Germany in 1962, is a professor at the Academia of Fine Arts of Sassari in Italy and one of the main names of the critical theory of value (Wertkritik) in a intersection between the groups Krisis and Exit!.
