Abstract

This text is a Portuguese translation of the original article  “Social-class variations in the teacher-pupil relationship”, by Howard Becker, published in 1952 on The Journal of Educational Sociology.

Nascido em 1928, Howard S. Becker foi professor de Sociologia na Universidade Northwestern (1965-1991) e na Universidade de Washington (1991-1999).
