The difficulties in the field of mental health of children and adolescents are analyzed in post-pandemic times. I affirm that it is necessary to be attentive to the banalization of ambiguous psychiatric diagnoses, to avoidable or unnecessary hospitalizations, as well as to the massive prescription of psychopharmacological therapeutics with serious collateral effects. We know that these types of situations will occur if we allow the sufferings caused by the pandemic to be translated as symptoms of some psychiatric disorder defined in the DSM and not as the result of the many difficulties lived during the times of Pandemic.
