About the Journal

Principia: an international journal of epistemology was founded in 1997 and regularly publishes articles, discussions and book reviews. The journal aims at publishing original scholarly work on epistemology, broadly conceived including theory of knowledge, philosophy of science, philosophy of language, philosophy of mind, philosophy of logic, metaphysics, and other related topics, with an emphasis on the analytic approach and on the Modern and Contemporary periods.

Originally published only in print version, in 2005 the journal began to be published also in online version. From 1999 to 2023 the journal published three issues a year. Since 2024, four issues are published per year: in March, June, September and December, only in online version.

CFP: Deep Disagreements: 40 Years of The Logic of Deep Disagreements

The special issue Deep Disagreements: 40 Years of The Logic of Deep Disagreements, conceived as a space for critical reflection and intellectual production devoted to this topic, aims to bring together research exploring the multiple dimensions of deep disagreements from different philosophical perspectives. We therefore invite all those interested in this debate, from the most diverse areas of philosophy, to contribute to this special volume of the journal Principia.
