Special Issue: Formal Approaches to Philosophy of Science

As mentioned during the closing ceremony of the Symposium, we are planning a special issue of our journal Principia: an international journal of epistemology (ISSN 1808-1711) dedicated to this year’s main theme: Formal Approaches to Philosophy of Science. If you have presented a talk on this topic at the Symposium and would like to submit your paper to the special issue, please use the journal’s editorial system at https://periodicos.ufsc.br/index.php/principia. Select the section “Special Issue: Formal Approaches to Philosophy of Science”. Also check the submission guidelines on the website by clicking “About” and then “Submissions”.

As always, papers outside the scope of the special issue but within the journal’s scope are welcome for submission to regular issues of Principia.

The deadline for submissions to this special issue has now been extended to January 27, 2026. An editorial decision should be expected by July 2026, and the special issue is expected to be published in the September 2026 issue of the journal. All submissions will undergo the journal’s usual double-blind peer review process.
