Abstract

Several academic publications show the constructed discourse in which women are located in the domestic space, concealing their role as cultural producers. These ideas are still installed in society and are recreated in cultural heritage and touristic construction and practice processes. The aim of this article is to reflect and discuss around certain ideas on the scarce women’s representation in the heritage construction process. The present methodological strategy is a case study in the District of Exaltación de la Cruz, in the northern Buenos Aires province (Argentina).
