Abstract

This article provides a brief foray into the world of academic journal databanks and its importance for the circulation of knowledge. In this context, we discuss the need to construct a databank in the area of feminist and gender studies. We explain the different stages in the construction of the Portal Feminista, reflecting on the challenges of electronic publications.
