Abstract

In France, the Muslim religion is the second one (after Catholicism) because of the presence of many immigrants from North of Africa and Turkey, usually living there for more than one generation. In their countries, women have fewer rights than men, and this tradition is perpetuated when they live in France. This article intends to show that the prescriptions about sexuality lead to women’s discrimination.
