Abstract

This study is a comunication on a research carried out during 18 (eighteen) months with one-year-old children that tried to identify significant variables for the understanding of language acquisition starting from Vygotsky's hypotesis and the Pichon Riviére's concept of "linkage". The results of the study show the significance of the interaction of the child with the adult in language acquisition.

Author Biography

Sérgio Scotti, Professor do Depto de Psicologia da UFSC

possui graduação em Psicologia - Faculdades de São Marcos (1979), mestrado em Lingüística pela Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (1987) e doutorado em Psicologia Clínica pela Universidade de São Paulo (1998). Atualmente é professor associado aposentado (voluntário) da Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina. Tem experiência na área de Psicologia, com ênfase em Intervenção Terapêutica, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: psicanálise, literatura, clínica lacaniana, clínica psicanalítica e escrita.
