With the advent of digital literature, produced and enjoyed in a digital environment, concerns abound, especially due to the absence of a critical-pedagogical tradition and a certain fear of new objects, in terms of sounds, pictorialities, and interrelations. Certain issues become urgent, in the context of the materialities of the digital object, the intermedializing procedures and their potential meanings, the multimedia experience, and the theoretical-explanatory texts that sometimes accompany them. Thus, throughout the text, I discuss the concepts of form, deformation, installation, interpretation, canon, and tradition, in light visitation to the digital poem “O cosmonauta” by Wilton Azevedo and Alckmar dos Santos.
