Creativity is considered an important pillar for society, as it influences the way people interact with the world and also drives evolution through innovations, new discoveries and experimentation. Globalization and the advent of new technologies such as virtual reality (VR) have enabled the development of digital environments that can stimulate the creativity of individuals through the expansion of experiences and sensations. With this scenario in effect, the present study aims to understand the choices of aesthetic representation in the metaverse created inspired by the fantasy theme, since the customization of avatars directly impacts the way the individual socializes in the virtual environment. To present an initial overview, a methodology based on applied research was chosen, where the objective of the study is descriptive and the method used is non-participant observation with a qualitative approach. The observation was carried out through the Decentraland platform and anchored in the divergent thinking meters developed by Torrance. As a result, the analytical panorama demonstrates that it is possible to understand the choices of aesthetic representation of an individual through the meters developed by Torrance and that each person manifests different levels in each of them, even placed under the same situation.
