Editorial Activity 2025 and Qualis Capes Assessment (2021–2024)

Cadernos de Tradução (PGET-UFSC) maintained its A1 classification in Qualis CAPES (2021–2024), the highest level in the system. This result confirms the journal’s scientific rigour and editorial excellence, supported by a consistent peer-review process and ongoing engagement with high-impact research agendas, in dialogue with both the national and international academic community. The classification also reaffirms Cadernos de Tradução as a leading journal in the field and as the only Latin American journal specifically focused on Translation Studies to receive the highest Qualis classification.

In addition, we share in the full announcement a snapshot of the journal’s 2025 editorial statistics, summarising workload, decision flows, and average turnaround times over the past year.
