The Use of Indicators in the Public Administration: the law no. 12.120/2002 of the State of Santa Catarina

The use of social indicators has been facilitating the increase of acting patterns in the Brazilian Public Administration. They are identified the aspects that characterize the bureaucratic model of organization and the phases of the public administration in Brazil, focusing the results that the Country has been achieving in the components of its development level and offering a panoramic vision of the social inequalities. In this context, the Law n°. 12.120, of the State of Santa Catarina, of January 9, 2002, it is identified, under the aspect of its repercussion, as well as on the group of indicators that describe the Santa Catarina’s condition when demanding discipline and continuity objectively in the persecution of improvements. The risings allow to conclude that the concepts of the indicators converge to consolidate its reference condition for the public organs in Brazil, and the results hurried in the evaluation of Santa Catarina's situation demonstrate compatibility between the appreciated indicators and the situation of the state in the context of the Federation.Downloads
