Abstract

In light of the analysis and deepening of the organizations’ theories – specially those of Cyert & March, Allison, Crozier & Friedberg, Lindblom – the theory of argumentation, mainly that of Perelman & Olbrechts-Tyca and Bourdieu, and the theory of the actor-network (Latour & Callon), it is argued that an organization is a battlefield, and that the decision making of management is simply the product of a fortuitous encounter, of a particular circumstance (opportunity of choice), problems (pending), solutions (all ready) and decisions more or less involved (participants).
