Qualidade total: Um novo paradigma?

In recent years, the movement toward adopting Total Quality Management around world has increased. There is now such a diversity of things done under the narre "Total Quality". A theory revision is complex, because there is many authors who deal with the question. They choose different perspectives of analyses (theoreticians and empiricists)and there is difficulties to identify a conceptual framework. There is a ample broadcasting of models, tools, techniques, marketing and consultants. This popularity done with that organizations adopt this way of work management without the knowledge of the implications that a model of this order represents; especially in Brazilian case, susceptible the imported proposals. The present article propose a examination of what the movement's founders had to articulate about TQM, the main critics to this way, and it assess how has been applied in our country.
