Abstract

The main objective of this research is to evaluate the public, private and non-profiteffort of fighting the unemployment in Florianopolis and Palhoça. Other objectives are toget an overview of the job market and to indicate the unemployment motivators in thiscities. The research in its first phase had an exploratory/descriptive type, and secondly were undertaken case studies from seven selected organizations established in Florianopolis area. Graduação em Administração pela Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (1999), mestrado em Administração pela Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (2002), e doutorado em Ciências Políticas pela Universidade de Milão (2008).
