A Sociologia de Michel Maffesoli e a Gestão Social: gerencie-me ou te devoro

Este trabalho tem o objetivo de aproximar dois referenciais: de um lado, a sociologia de Maffesoli e sua análise da contemporaneidade por meio da relativização de pressupostos sociológicos e filosóficos acerca da realização plena da humanidade em projetos ancorados em um devir e, de outro, a Gestão Social, que se apresenta como proponente de práticas alternativas ao pensamento administrativo tradicional, centrado na racionalidade utilitária. A partir da metodologia de análise comparativa, demonstram-se proposições-chave na obra de Maffesoli, politeísmo popular e socialidade, relacionando-os com a Gestão Social e suas discussões em torno da dialética negativa, o interesse bem compreendido e a esfera pública. Concluiu-se que a Gestão Social se propõe a equacionar questões da contemporaneidade apontadas pela sociologia maffesoliana e que esta pode oferecer àquela os elementos para que se posicione como uma gestão para o que é, para o presente, e não somente para o que deve ser, para um futuro distante e impreciso.
