Abstract

This paper presents the discussion on the Teaching of Sociology in the Basic Education in the identification of the main themes located in books collection (2008-2013), in multiple research methodologies (thematic and theoretical literature, historical, prosopographical and critical content analysis) where content analysis predominates in this article composition. What prevails in the scene as a whole is a movement of discontinuities, as the availability to incorporate greater institutional flow of ideas, educational experiences placed in academic events, development projects to research and introduction to the teaching process and to a preview of immediate registry experiences' overcoming. However, the continuities still show productions with low print runs and a gap to develop a larger dialogism between the production of the chapters, issues, inter-works and bets in the specific theoretical and educational subarea' inventions.
