This paper aims to present the conception of nature developed in the Critique of the Power of Judgment, a work published by Immanuel Kant in 1790, based on its relations with aesthetics and ethics, arriving at the concept of vital feeling, with the objective of bringing these reflections closer to a contemporary ecological approach to nature preservation. The aim is to show that the faculty of judgment and its technique regarding nature constitute a non-mechanical mode of understanding, one that opens the way for poetic creation, distinguishing itself from a view of nature as inferior to the subject.
