Por uma questão de justiça ambiental

Abstract

Ao publicar Uma teoria da Justiça, em 1971, Rawls não inclui, explicitamente, um tipo de bens, denominados, neste artigo, bens naturais ambientais, um tipo de bens indispensável para assegurar a sobrevivência de todos os organismos sujeitos a necessidades básicas, incluindo as humanas. Uma teoria ética da justiça deve considerar a distribuição justa dos bens naturais ambientais a todos os seres vivos, independentemente de sua capacidade de raciocinar ou de falar, pois necessidades corpóreas são naturalmente comuns a todas as espécies vivas.
