The paper suggests a starting point for developing a work based on teaching and learning of multiliteracy. The intention is to go beyond a fairly traditional instruction, demonstrating that the teaching of the English language (L2) is based on the development of cultural, historical, and social aspects of a language. One of the current paper's goals is to give students who have never taught English previously a perspective on how to teach the English language, but also providing classroom experiences of remote teaching for extensionists via Google Meet, as well as aiming at the production and reflection of specific materials and classes for teaching English.
