The objective of this study is to evaluate the methodology applied in the Sumo Educacional Project based on the perceptions of teachers and trainers responsible for the training activities, identifying its strengths, limitations, and contributions to the learning process. Through semi-structured interviews with teachers and program members, the study sought to understand the benefits, challenges, and necessary conditions for the implementation of the methodology, with an emphasis on the use of the “Projeto Vida” game in the school context. The results indicate that the proposal is well received by teachers, although its effectiveness depends on adequate training, flexibility for adaptation to the specificities of each class, and articulation with the pedagogical practices already in place in schools. The findings reinforce the relevance of active methodologies in Financial Education teaching and highlight the need to improve the support provided to educators.
