Abstract

Since the dawn of humanity, the events of the celestial sphere captivate people. However, in the classroom, the astronomical concepts are taught in a disorganized manner and exiled in science curricula, creating a disconnected reality in the teaching of Astronomy. This paper aims to describe different steps for the construction of a didactic celestial sphere (ECD), aiming to enrich the teaching-learning process with an instrumental resource that enables assimilation and contextualization of astronomical phenomena. Besides, the different possibilities for educational works like this are shown, exploring its great capacity of knowledge´s synthesis and the simulation of astronomical phenomena that interest everyday space-time facts.
