The use of strobe images is old and its application in Physics teaching becomes increasingly useful with the development of new apps and softwares. Strobe digital images present as promising in many fields of science, especially for the kinematics because they are cheap and simple. However, these experiments have their limitations, such as contrast with the background, lighting, camera frame rate, mobile speed, distortion of images by lenses. The present article demonstrates quantitatively and qualitatively some limitations of this technique to help in the design of experiments.
