Abstract

We are available the Libras videos and annotations for research and educational purposes. The main goal is to systematize the data through searching tools with open access. This also means to empower Libras in Brazil in all the states of the country (QUADROS et al., 2014). For this documentation, besides building a Libras Corpus and other materials, we are working on a Libras SignBank in the global signbank context as part of the Libras Portal (it was built in the first place in 2014 and it is being updated to include all the new resources since 2018 to be implement in 2020).  In this paper, we present the Libras SignBank, that uses the Global SignBank structure (CASSIDY et al., 2018; CRASBORN et al., 2012, 2018) with the integration of the phonological aspects from Libras, as well as some specific development related to Libras handshapes and the searching tool. We have imported all the previous data that we had compiled in our SignID to SignBank updating the information.
