Abstract

In this study, we analyzed the operation of the discursive game in the validation process of the online newspaper Gazeta do Povo. For this, we took as theoretical and methodological basis the French Discourse Analysis (AD), in its pecheutian line. The objective was to verify which discursive and textual resources were used in the construction of the featured article “Tudo sobre a greve e a ocupação nas escolas do Paraná” and the secondary articles that are linked to it, which lead to the production of meaning and the validation of these articles. The analysis allowed us to clarify a discursive game that was constructed from the textual organization and of a discursive movement that sometimes validates the sayings of journalistic subjects, sometimes validates the speeches of the writing team, and validates the institution itself, Gazeta do Povo.
