Abstract

Currently, the media and information ecosystem, with its varied manifestations of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and unknowns about the ethics and reliability of news, paints a bright picture, in some cases, and with a certain pessimism, in others. For this reason, news organizations and universities around the world are beginning to research, explore and experiment with AI and its use in creating digital content. Since the launch of ChatGPT, in November 2022, hundreds, and perhaps thousands, of academic works have emerged on the use of this technology, which has been consolidating itself in news organizations and demonstrated so much impact and potential for Journalism that innovation driven by AI has become became the focus of almost all newsrooms.
