Abstract

The text analyzes the general conditions of Argentine politics since the emergence of Peronism. Through the concept of movement it intends to assess particularly the effects of Peronism on the institutions and practices of democracy. The text analyzes the continuities and the differences between actors and policies in the various Peronist cycles, focusing on the current Kirchner Government. Héctor Ricardo Leis, Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina

Héctor Ricardo Leis é Doutor em Filosofia pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro e Mestre em Ciência Política pela University of Notre Dame (USA). Atualmente é Professor Associado do Departamento de Sociologia e Ciência Política da Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina. Publicou numerosos capítulos de livros e artigos em revistas, no país e no exterior, assim como vários livros. Sua produção científica está concentrada nos seguintes eixos temáticos: Condição Humana na Sociedade Contemporânea; Sociedade e Meio Ambiente; Teoria Social e Política; Globalização e Relações Internacionais; Modernidade e Democracia; Interdisciplinaridade nas Ciências Humanas.
