Associativism, participation and public policies

This article concerns the participation of the civil society in the elaboration of the “Land Project” in Vitória from 1997 to 2004. It investigates practices of social participation in public administration and their correlation to the structure of local associativism, as well as their effects on the process of democratization of municipal administration and on the associative practices and political culture of the societal actors.
