The FTAA and entrepreneurs of the Southern Cone

The article analyzes the attempt to create a Free Trade Area in the Americas (FTAA), identifying the main strategies of entrepreneurs in the whole process of regionalization of economies, based on actions of its representative corporations and the political impacts face to social movements. It also tries to test the relationships with local groups, focusing institutional iniciatives of technical development in the inland of Brazil and Argentina where different entrepreneurs try to establish new forms of productive cooperation, through the creation of clusters.
