The work Right to escape, written by Sandro Mezzadra, professor and researcher the University of Bologna, has translated into Portuguese yet by a university press Portuguese, in recent years the book has been a reference point for several countries, such as Italy, Britain, France, Australia, India and Argentina. This work is important for people who wish to investigate, throughout hypotheses of new researches, not only restricted to legal and institutional setting, but to everyday the challenges of contemporary migration as well. The book is an important landmark for the author who is aware of the importance of migratory movements. He considers them a set of subjective social practices reflecting upon the possible meanings of citizenship and borders in Western democracies.Downloads
