Sport potenntialities of children according to the soviet school perspective

This study aims to make a survey of the state of knowledge related to individual’s potentials, directed toward the better usage of talent discovery. Many talented young people have been “crushed “by coaches without proper preparation who do not respect the phases of human development and require results prior to the proper timing, without providing adequate training programs. Demonstrating the importance of heredity, we indicate the path that should be followed in order to detect the relationship between family infl uences and the results of great athletes. Following this pattern, this study proposes that new talent can be discovered through specifi c genetic tests plus family history.
