The purpose of the Brazilian Journal of Kinanthropometry and Human Performance is to disseminate original scientific research that contributes to the advancement of Human Movement Sciences with emphasis on kinanthropometry in both its morphological and functional aspects as well as the conditioning factors of physical performance.

Index H if calculated by the "Publish or Perish" the "Rev Bras Cineantropom Desempenho Hum" attained H 34 and Impact Fator of the SciELO 0.26 (Query date: 2017-12-02). It is currently indexed in some of the most influential international data bases such as Elsevier (SCOPUS), SCImago (H 15; SJR: 0.24), Google Scholar (H5 median: 19), DOAJ. This is Peer Reviewed Journal.

Submissions, temporarily suspended

From the December 22, 2018 to February 10, 2019 submissions are temporarily suspended due to the end of year recess and institutional vacations of the editorial team. As of February 11, 2019, the submissions will be reactivated.
