Abstract

O texto aborda a relação entre cuidado, feminismo e câncer. O autor aposta no potencial da perspectiva feminista da experiência de adoecer e da experiência de deficiência: o olhar para a generificação destas experiências e do quanto os marcadores de gênero, raça, classe, religião, entre outros, se entrelaçam para constituir essas experiências como parte da vida humana.

Adriano Henrique Nuernberg, UFSC

Doutor em Ciências Humanas pela UFSC. Professor aposentado do Departamento de Psicologia da Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC). É fundador do Núcleo de Estudos da Deficiência (NED/UFSC) e cofundador do Laboratório de Psicologia Escolar Educacional da UFSC. Temas pesquisados pelo autor: psicologia histórico-cultural, estudos da deficiência, gênero e deficiência, autismo.
