Discussing Feminism in Mexico

Debate feminist has published more than 7,000 pages of texts written by women or about them, during its thirteen years of life. The aims of the journal are to be a bridge between scholarly and political work and to establish a dialogue with the feminist movement. An account of the topics addressed by the journal is presented, by making an account of the journal’s bestselling numbers. Based on a small survey with academics and activists, the article concludes with the assertion that the readers value debate feminista for its practical usefulness and for its theoretical articles.
