Digital literary reading for children and young people in an educational context’

The dossier ‘Digital literary reading for children and young people in an educational context’ offers a series of reflections on the area of digital children's and young adult literature, , as well as teaching. Building bridges between academia and primary and secondary schools allows not only for the exchange of knowledge concerning the realities witnessed and experienced by Portuguese teachers in different educational and socio-cultural contexts, but also  provides teachers with theoretical knowledge about digital literary forms and practices. This dossier will bring together perspectives on the specificities of digital children's and youth literature and its pedagogical potential in the classroom, discussing, in particular, digital literary works and their educational applications.

 

Proposed articles should be accompanied by 4 to 5 keywords and be between 10 and 20 pages long (Word; 12pt; one-and-a-half spacing).

Literary reading skills;

Reading modalities and strategies;

Post-digital perspectives on reading;

Digital literature for children and young adults;

Teaching literature.
