Abstract

The area of Translation and Interpretation Studies (ETI) has been extensively researched from different perspectives, but its scientific investigation is recent. The Neurocognition of Translation and Interpreting was published in 2019 and aims to disseminate the findings of many studies on the neuroscience of language, in a neurocognitive approach, focusing on translation from information derived from the brain. This work is dedicated to beginning researchers and professionals in the field of ETI, teachers, students and practitioners, as well as to scholars in bilingualism and neurolinguistics.

Manoela Lima Azevedo, Universidade Federal do Ceará (UFC)

Graduada em Letras  - Português, Inglês e suas respectivas Literaturas  - pela Universidade Estadual do Ceará (2008). Especialista no Ensino da Língua Inglesa pela Faculdade Ateneu. Mestranda em Estudos da Tradução na Universidade Federal do Ceará (UFC). No âmbito profissional, tem experiência em tradução e ensino da língua inglesa.
