Enfrentar a incerteza: O papel da família no desenvolvimento de identidade(s)

Resumo

A família verifica-se como agente de socialização primária que influencia o sistema de crenças e atitudes relativas à perceção de si e dos outros, sendo crucial para criação de identidade(s) inclusivas logo desde a infância. Com recurso à identificação de características culturais assentes no evitamento perante a incerteza, princípios da resiliência, bem como a consideração de famílias transnacionais como exemplo, pretende-se refletir sobre a diversidade enquanto mais-valia. Para um futuro com mais equidade, sugere-se o desenvolvimento de empatia para redução de preconceitos sociais.

Biografia do Autor

Carlos Barros, Universidade Católica Portuguesa

Doutor em Psicologia, com especialidade em Psicologia Social pela Universidade de Lisboa, onde integrou o Programa Interdisciplinar de Migrações. Mestre em Temas de Psicologia, especialista em Psicologia da Formação Profissional e Aprendizagem ao Longo da Vida, pela Universidade do Porto. Concluiu formação graduada e pós-graduada em História e Gestão na Universidade do Porto e na Católica-Lisbon, respetivamente. Foi gestor de projetos educativos, consultor de Data Science em ONG’s e colaborador em Recursos Humanos. Participa ativamente na comunicação social, destacando-se as contribuições nas equipas do Jornal Público, Jornal Económico e no Jornal da Diáspora portuguesa BOMDIA. Recebeu a Medalha de Mérito em reconhecimento pelo trabalho na Cultura e Ciência, do Município de Valongo (2021); participou em vários projetos internacionais, tendo recebido apoios COST (2016 e 2018); foi professor convidado em diversos projetos institucionais, destacando-se a participação no Pacto Universitário pela Promoção do Respeito à Diversidade, Cultura da Paz e Direitos Humanos do Governo Federal do Brasil (2018); recebeu distinção de Louvor pela democratização da Cultura e Educação em Portugal pela Nobre Casa da Cidadania (2014). Principais temas:  - Solidariedade Intergeracional;  - Adaptação digitação; - Migrações Humanas; - Conciliação entre trabalho e vida pessoal/familiar.
