Abstract

The purpose of this review is to comment about the book Research and Pedagogy: Education for differences. The work was organized by Alex Barreiro, Nélia Aparecida da Silva Cavalcante and Ana Lúcia Goulart de Faria. It presents fourteen articles by researchers and male and female teachers, who aim to highlight the urgency of studies with respect to early childhood education, especially in the context of quality education, taking into account the diversity and that is decolonial. The combination of science and research is essential for the inequalities present in the Brazilian reality to be mowed. It cannot be lost sight of that only with a radical change in the educational system can Education fulfill its social role in fact and in law.
