Cleaner production

This article had the objective of consider the use of cleaner production techniques in a bird-ration plant. It was made exploratory and descriptive case study, with qualitative approach, enclosed by bibliographical and field research. Data have been collected in archives, and by interviews and observation. Results evidenced that cleaner production can bring a possible improvement in the productive process of the plant. However, those proposals must not been reduced in equipment-aquisition changes. Even though company needs to know the economic-financial viability of its investments, its productive process have to be more responsible, searching for solutions – at least temporary – to problems caused in the environment.Downloads
