Alcançando a inovação em processos por meio da abordagem analítica

Este artigo tem como objetivo investigar a intensidade em que a orientação analítica (Business Analytics – BA) das empresas pode impactar nas inovações de processos. A plataforma teórica utilizada se baseia nas discussões acerca do processo decisório e da inteligência competitiva. Na metodologia, foi aplicada a técnica de modelagem de equações estruturais para testar as relações estabelecidas no modelo estrutural proposto, em que foram considerados o constructo BA – composto de Habilidades Analíticas, Tecnologia Analítica, Qualidade de Dados, Comprometimento da Liderança, Estratégia analítica, Abordagem Analítica (AB) – e o construto Inovação de Processos. A coleta de dados foi realizada por meio de uma base de dados de Clientes da empresa SAS no Brasil, uma das maiores empresas fornecedoras de soluções analíticas do mundo. O estudo concluiu que a Abordagem Analítica (BA) tem um forte impacto na Inovação de Processos e que o constructo Estratégia possui uma grande relevância preditiva em BA.
