The Ecology Museum Fritz Müller: tessitura for scientific education and research

The scientific literature on museums has, over the years, expanding to highlight the contributions of these spaces in our society for Scientific Non-formal education. Based on this, the objective to characterize the educational profile of Museum Ecology Fritz Müller to constitute indicators of their potential in research and science education. For this, there were two methodological paths, a literature search to identify the Brazilian scientific production research whose object of study is the MEFM and field research, with the collection of information of the Museum in order to take stock of activities. For all identified features and the systematization of their potential, supports the use of MEFM space as science education learning environment for your visitors and students of different levels and types of education; for initial and continuing teacher training; for scientific research and professional training of science.
