Antjie Krog, University of the Western Cape

Antjie Krog is a poet and Professor Emeritus at The University ofthe Western Cape. Her prose debut was with Country of My Skull, anaccount of the works of the Truth and Reconciliation Comission inthe 1990s which won worldwide recognition. She has also written AChange of Tongue (2003), Begging to be Black (2010) as well as severalbooks of poetry in Afrikaans, plays and translations. She holds fourhonorary doctoral degrees.
