Cyntia Bailer, UFSC

Cyntia Bailer  holds a Master’s degree in English  language and literature by Programa de Pós-Graduação em  letras/inglês from Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC), and is currently a Phd candidate in applied linguistics in the same program. She has experience in teaching English to all levels in regular schools and private institutions, as well as in translation and revision. as a researcher, she is interested in the area of second language acquisition, with a focus on the cognitive aspects involved in language processing and comprehension, in particular the area of reading and the implementation of reading processes in the brain.
