Tacel Coutinho Leal, Universidade Estadual de Londrina

Tacel Coutinho Leal is a Professor of Literatures in English at Universidade Estadual de Londrina (UEL). He concluded his doctoral studies at Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC) in 2006, where he defended the dissertation Daring Art: Erotic Imagery in the Poetry of Walt Whitman and Adrienne Rich. Presently, he is developing research on human rights and representation in Brazil. He also coordinates the Specialization Course in English (ELI) at Universidade Estadual de Londrina. His main interests include gender studies, sexual diversity and cinema, human rights and representation, and media studies. E-mail: lealtaz@hotmail.com
